Founded in 2019, Through Our Eyes is made up of students who simply love to shoot photos! Our skill levels and background knowledge of photography range from loving to capture daily images on our cell phones, to learning more intermediate techniques using Canon DSLR cameras and professional lighting. Anyone with a passion or interest for photography is welcome in our club, and we aim to support one another and share our skills and knowledge with the group. Each month we vote on a different "theme" to focus our images on (nature, water, black-and-white, abstract, etc.) and compete to produce the best images within that theme. For the past two months, we've focused heavily on portraiture - or pictures of people.

With the help of the CBU Photography department, our students have learned new techniques for shooting portraits in natural light and using professional studio lighting. We're excited to share the world through our eyes!
