2025 Communication Arts Photography Annual 66

Communication Arts magazine has announced the winners of its 66th annual Photography Competition, recognizing excellence in visual communications. Out of 1,906 entries, only 129 projects, representing the work of 101 photographers—were selected by a jury of creative professionals, making this one of the most selective photography competitions in the world.

The winning projects will be featured in the July/August 2025 issue of Communication Arts, available in both print and digital formats. With over 25,000 copies distributed globally, the issue offers significant exposure for the artists and their work.

Founded 67 years ago, Communication Arts is a leading journal for professionals in design, advertising, photography, illustration, and visual communication. Its editorials, features, and prestigious competitions uphold the highest standards in the creative industry while spotlighting both established talent and emerging voices.

The annual Photography issue is printed with CA’s proprietary high-quality techniques, including 200-line color separation and premium 70 lb. coated paper, ensuring every image is faithfully reproduced in vivid detail and true color.

California Baptist University (CBU) had five of the eight selected student works featured in this year’s competition, an impressive accomplishment reflecting the caliber of its photography program.
